We are currently working with a very well-established client in Hatfield who are looking for a Service Coordinator to join their modern and friendly offices.
In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with engineers and field teams to; schedule works, process orders on behalf of customers, provide excellent customer service and complete all administration for the department.
This role will require the successful candidate to work Monday – Friday between 9am – 5pm.

Responsibilities:
- Process orders and invoices on behalf of the field team
- Log all jobs on the system to be completed by the engineers and materials required
- Deal with all incoming telephone enquiries from engineers and customers
- Allocate jobs on behalf of the engineers and confirm with field team and/or customer directly
- Manage the call-out rota for the engineers
- Work closely with the Spares Dept. to ensure correct parts/spares are sources, purchased and delivered to ensure customer works are carried out within agreed timescales
- Liaise with Credit Control to resolve outstanding account queries when required
- Continuously build relationships with colleagues and customers to ensure seamless service
- Assist internal and external teams when required
- Process work from initial enquiry through to quotation and invoicing
- Processing of engineers work reports and timesheets
- Assisting as and when required with other offices to cover sick/holiday absence
- Schedule maintenance visits when required
- Liaise with customers to organise delivery of required parts
- Assist in the forecasting and scheduling process
- Ensure data-entry and reporting is accurate
- Execute all administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Previous experience of working within a similar coordination role where you have dealt with engineers
- IT literate and a competent user of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Must be self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic
- An organised individual who is assertive, methodical and personable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Analytical approach with excellent attention to detail
