We are looking for a talented and creative Marketing Co-ordinator for a friendly and professional organisation based in Hertford.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will support and assist with all marketing and communications to all departments within the business.
With previous experience in a Marketing role you will have excellent communication, both written and verbal along with exceptional proof reading skills. You will have good all round IT literacy with a sound knowledge of a wide range of digital communication media along with strong planning and organisational abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the marketing team and wider business in carrying out both planned and ad hoc communications projects and activities
- Liaising with stakeholders to coordinate marketing and production activity for the annual campaign
- Liaising with existing and new suppliers and negotiates costs
- Providing photography and video assistance as required
- Supporting the events team as required with external events
- Manage the Online Magazine – content and circulation
- Manage advertising and commercial offering, liaising with external customers and supports sales where required
- Plans, schedules, creates and sends out e-shots including monthly newsletters, updates and internal comms
- Proof reads and amends copy supplied by others as required
- Liaises with colleagues and provides slides for internal Comms Meetings
- Oversee and keep digital platforms up to date, uploading the latest information via CMS
- In collaboration with the marketing team, set clear campaign targets, in line with business objectives
- Report monthly on project progress activity as appropriate
- Provide project analysis activity demonstrating effectiveness/adherence to objectives/targets and ROI.
Personal Specification:
- Previous experience of working in a marketing role
- Excellent proof reading, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong planning, organisational and record keeping skills
- Experience of using a web content management systems/digital web editing
- Enthusiastic and pro-active with ability to work on their own initiative as well as within a busy team
- Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple projects on an on-going basis, working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Full IT literacy with sound knowledge of a wide range of digital communication media.
