We are currently working with a fantastic and innovative company who are looking for an Account Manager to join their lovely offices in Hertford.
Joining a successful and past-paced organisation, we are looking for a mid-level Account Manager ideally with a background within Marketing, branding or digital to play a key role within a dynamic Account Management team. You must love working with different types of people and enjoy creating long-term, trusting relationships.
In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of clients, cultivating these relationships to develop new business opportunities whilst offering the highest levels of support and actively assisting the sales team. The successful candidate will have unstoppable enthusiasm and preferably a good knowledge of the hospitality, food/beverage and/or retail industries.

Role Responsibilities:- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters surrounding your client accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships in line with company strategy
- Oversee the client account management, including assisting the sales team in negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profile
- Initiate the handover from the sales team to internal implementation teams, including providing the initial briefs to the lead creative consultant and installations team as necessary
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our service according to client needs and objectives
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, client stakeholders and associated partners
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify any areas of service improvement
- Prepare and deliver proposals and pitches, both alone and with colleagues
- Work with our in-house design team to produce engaging marketing collateral as required
- Prepare reports on account status
- Collaborate with the sales team it identify growth opportunities
- Attend client calls and meetings to support account managers in pre and post sales projects
- Produce and maintain project plans and schedules both internally and externally on behalf of clients
- Provide formal quotes, agreements, sales collateral and technical documentation to clients when required
- Maintain internal databases with up to date client information, system orders, serial numbers and current projects
Key Skills and Competencies
- A proven track record in working with multiple departments and have a natural talent for bringing people together to manage projects through to a resolution
- Confident in a client facing role and the ability to converse confidently with all relationships in an engaging and credible way
- You will be passionate and excited to build relationships with your clients
- You will have solid project management skills and the ability to multi-task
- You will be a real peoples person who communicates clearly and effectively, both verbal and written
- You will be IT literate
- You will possess the ability to problem solve and be process driven
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject – Marketing / Business / Music / Art
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Account Management role
- Experience of working in an agency environment – preferred
