I have a new opportunity for our client who are based in Bishop’s Stortford.
Our client is looking for an Administrator within the Logistics Team to manage the samples for the company. The key skills required in this role will be accuracy and attention to detail, communication, organisation and a professional telephone manner.

Ideally we are looking for candidates who are available immediately for a contract that will be for around six months.
The working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Key duties;
- Manage and process sales orders every day, which are requested by the territory owners from the respective sectors, from CRM or projects database.
- Prepare documentation
- Package samples in the appropriate packaging.
- Advise customers of the sample dispatch, or pending order with the Sample Order Confirmation, indicating the anticipated delivery date of samples.
- Update Sales Order Management (SOM) for all back orders and DI samples.
- Manage back orders weekly and update customers where required. Updating the delivery required to the following Monday on all back orders.
- Contact suppliers for updates on samples if not regularly available
- Land in SAGE and allocate appropriate samples to back orders.
- Operate stock checks on each supplier every few months. Check quantities and expiry dates of samples and update SAGE to reflect relevant data.
- Work via the cleaning rota located in the sample room. Maintain the sample room to a clean high standard.
- Process warehouse transfers on SAGE, pack up appropriately and allocate all samples in the transfer database.
- Arrange for the clearance of all incoming samples from outside of the EU, providing the relevant information to the courier.
- Amend any price differences or carriage PO’s on a monthly basis to assist the Accounts Team. Inclusive of any samples dispatched outside of the system.
