I have a fantastic opportunity available for a Logistics Administrator for my client who are based in Bishop’s Stortford.
This is a great role working for a well-established and successful company who work with some of the biggest brands worldwide.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to liaise professionally with external suppliers and colleagues. You will also need to be IT literate with good accuracy and attention to detail.
Key duties of the Logistics Administrator;
- Ensure costs are entered on to the ERP system to ensure accuracy of records. Support the accuracy and sign off of freight invoices. Verify the accuracy of suppliers / Principals invoices and ensure discrepancies are reverted to the Purchasing team for clarification.
- Unpack and receipt deliveries arriving in a timely and organised manner to support the despatch of samples to customer.
- Manage the supply chain from demand generation to purchase for the samples supply chain. Ensure the outbound despatch of stocks is managed in an efficient and orderly manner, support a smooth operation.
- Manage the disposal of stocks, to maintain a readily available stock.
- Work with the designated freight provider to manage delivery bookings to the specified customers and escalate any delivery concerns to the Logistics Team Leader and Operations Manager.
- Support the smooth functioning of the warehouse by providing booking slots (where applicable) for the inbound arrival of all stocks to designated delivery addresses.
- Work to procedures outlined for your specific job role.
- Carry out any other duties or responsibilities as identified by the Logistics Team Leader or Operations Manager.
