Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Product Manager to join a well-established, professional organisation to lead the eLearning team, ensuring delivery and ongoing maintenance of digital solutions.

With expert knowledge of digital learning and proven experience of initiating and leading digital change and communicating vision, you will ensure all digital products and services are optimum and contribute effectively to improve the journeys and experiences of all users including learners, member’s consumers of CPD and eLearning, centres and business partners.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement the Digital Product development plan
  • Act as key liaison with all stakeholders to understand, interpret and document all digital product requirements
  • Manage and ensure the effective performance of the E-Learning team
  • Provide leadership and support in the production of digital content for products
  • Continually monitor and ensure all digital products are dynamic, up-to-date and immediately responsive to the needs of a wide and diverse group of stakeholders
  • Own and develop the functionality and capability of the digital products
  • Manage internal and external development resources for the digital products including, but not limited to eLearning, ePortfolio, eAssessments etc.
  • Produce and manage project plans for digital product development
  • Work with the IT Team to ensure the digital product development work packages align with the wider IT development landscape
  • Work with the Marketing & Comms Team, ensuring all support information is available for existing and potential customers to receive an excellent customer journey.
  • Resolve any design, functional and prioritisation issues through negotiation and innovative thinking
  • Take a leading role in any proposal relating to the digital products
  • In conjunction with relevant stakeholders, source and make recommendations on digital products, platforms, applications, ensuring alignment with agreed strategies and departmental plans
  • Work with the wider teams in providing recommendations for improving the change management process, both within projects and in support of post-implementation change
  • In conjunction with the IT Team, ensure digital products and associated systems are secure, robust and comply with current data protection legislation
  • Maximise the benefit and use of cloud technologies in order to provide cost-effective and fully scalable products and services
  • Ensure SLAs for product development are met and contribute into SLA reporting
  • Ensure digital products & services are developed within budget

Person Specification

  • Expert knowledge of digital learning
  • Digital Product Development
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Experience of initiating and leading digital change and communicating vision
  • Proven experience of delivering complex system improvements into operational use
  • Expert knowledge of customer journeys, user interfaces (UI) and user experience (UX)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous management experience
  • Ability to travel to various sites within the UK necessitating in overnight stays – some international travel
  • Flexible working hours to take into account needs of the business
  • Possible office/remote based
