Mosaic Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a flourishing organisation in Harlow who are looking for a Technical Customer Service Advisor to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring complete accuracy from the initial quotation stage through to production and then subsequent delivery to customer. You will also be technically minded and maintain excellent technical service standards and high customer service satisfaction.
In this role, you will work a 40 hour week between Monday and Friday. Our client can also offer you the following benefits:

Responsibilities- Manage the preparation and subsequent follow-up of all customer quotations
- Operate CAD/CAM and additional softwares in order to accurately calculate costs and lead times for customer orders
- Ensure all orders are accurately entered onto the system on day of receipt
- Work cross-functionally with the Production team to ensure smooth order progression
- Utilise order management tools to accurately schedule the production of all orders
- Liaise with suppliers in order to negotiate and procure necessary materials
- Assist customers with any technical enquiries to achieve mutually agreed outcomes
- Work closely with the Marketing team in order to advertise the business and services
- Assist in obtaining and providing monthly customer forecasts where required
- Analyse customer sales data in order to better understand customer requirements
- Build and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Collaborate with internal team to optimise experience for clients and customers
- Keep up to date on changing trends and environments to make recommendations to better company products/services
- Carry out any adhoc duties as and when required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required- A HNC or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering
- 2 years’ experience within an Engineering and/or Manufacturing environment
- Experience of using CAD/CAM or similar softwares is highly desirable
- The ability to interpret customer drawings in order to generate accurate quotes
- Experience of negotiating with suppliers is highly desirable
- An excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Strong order processing skills alongside high accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Adaptable, flexible and positive outlook
- A problem solver who possesses strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proven track record of providing a high level of customer service
