I have a new opportunity that has become available for my client who are based in Bishop’s Stortford.
They are looking for a confident and organised Sales Support Executive to join their team and be instrumental in maintaining and developing relationships with their key suppliers. The successful candidate will have great attention to detail, have good initiative and be an excellent team player. You will need to be willing to learn and have a good work ethic. Training can be provided.
They can offer you a competitive salary and benefits along with free parking on site. The working hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.The successful candidate will have a proven background in a commercial environment and be a motivated self-starter.
Key Responsibilities;
Profiling
• Support colleagues and management in building predictive models of behaviours.
• Responsible for segmenting decision making, behaviours and requirements.
• Responsible for mapping designated decision makers.
• Collating trends and creating required reports.
Business Development
• Responsible for preparing and communicating tactical plans.
• Responsible for monitoring progress versus targets, and informing commercial teams of gaps.
KPIs
• Responsible for managing budgets and forecasts and targets.
• Responsible for optimised working capital.
• Support in defining team targets.
Reporting
• Responsible for ongoing market and activity reporting (standard reporting, not customised).
• Developing optimised reporting tools.
Daily Management
• Responsible for communicating updates on new products, prices, availability, etc.
• Producing internal PR.
• Responsible for organising sales team training programme.
• Responsible for provision of sales tools.
• Support purchasing in setting stocks levels.
The Person
• Numerate and IT literate having intermediate level or higher skills in the use of Microsoft Office software.
• Strong analytical capability – able to collect, record and interpret data and present possible implications and recommendations for action.
• Organised – knows the data and if not then where to find it and present it quickly.
• Vision and detail – able to see the bigger picture and long-term vision while managing day to day issues and remaining sensitive, but resilient to cultural change taking place within the Group.
• Valid and clean driving license.
