Description

We are currently working with a fantastic company in Harlow who are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their growing team.

Our client, a market leader in their field, are looking for an experienced and resilient professional to assist in providing sales support to a team of field sales.

In this role, you will work a 40 hour week between Monday and Friday. Our client can also offer you the following benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist a team of external sales executives by providing office based sales support and administration
  • Ensure the in-house system is updated regularly and well-maintained
  • Ensure pricing and product data is continuously accurate
  • Advise external colleagues of sales leads and assist them in keeping track of sales targets
  • Act as first point of contact for incoming enquiries via telephone, email and face to face
  • Process orders and follow entire process from initial quote to delivery of product/service
  • Provide sample requests when required
  • Assist Marketing dept. with marketing collateral when required
  • Liaise closely with other internal departments
  • Complete all administration on behalf of the department and field sales team
  • To cover and complete other ad-hoc requests when required

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • A clear communicator, both verbally and written (face to face communication desirable)
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills
  • A team-player who is able to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Proactive approach to working
  • Ability to prioritise and demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • IT literate, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience of using SAP highly desirable
  • A candidate who speaks multiple languages would be highly desirable but not essential
