The role will offer a high level of autonomy as you will be responsible for planning your own workload and managing your time effectively to achieve successful outcomes and recruitment targets.
Duties
- Work closely with the Recruitment Team, Director & Regional Managers to understand demand and priorities and plan fulfilment for all roles
- Plan own workload and diary subject to recruitment demands and priorities
- Maintain contact with candidates though the whole recruitment process and keep an accurate record of all details
- Direct sourcing of applicants via job boards / social media / and other appropriate channels
- Pre-screen CV’s for background suitability
- Network innovatively to create new sources for candidates
- Research to find appropriate channels to advertise and gain marketing opportunities
- Gain and understanding of the market including competitors
- Proactively network via social and professional sites
- Source, recommend and attend job fairs
- Conduct CV and telephone sifts to screen candidates and determine suitability
- Use existing facilities to source interview locations or book external accommodation if required
- Arrange and conduct field based interviews as required
- Offer post interview support to candidates
- Ensure that all appropriate paperwork notes including right to work etc., is forwarded to central recruitment team post interview
- Liaise with on-boarding recruitment team on all offers for direct sourced candidates
- Keep candidates under offer engaged in the period prior to them commencing
- Gain and in-depth understanding of reasons for drop outs and ensure this information is cascaded to the correct people
Person specification
- Resilient, target driven, self-starter
- First class relationship management skills
- Persuasive, influential with excellent powers to negotiate successful outcomes
- Excellent communicator who can liaise confidently at all levels and be assertive when necessary
- Proactive, able to work with minimal supervision and on own initiative
- Able to interview and screen candidates professionally
- Happy to work to targets for number of recruits on-boarded
- Flexible team player, who is willing to travel on occasions
