We are looking for a talented and experienced Marketing Manager who has a proven track record of delivering marketing strategies on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for the creation of the multi-channel marketing and comms strategy, overseeing the implementation of the marketing plan. You will play a key role in organising and delivering campaigns to support the business objectives and achieve the desired ROI.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Set clear campaign targets and create, execute and manage the multi-channel marketing & communications strategy to realise organisational business objectives.
- Propose concepts for all projects ensuring that there is a clear and detailed plan to take from conception through to delivery.
- Report monthly on project progress activity and provide project analysis activity to demonstrate effectiveness to objectives/targets and ROI
- Work closely with key areas of the business to deliver marketing-driven campaigns to achieve sales growth objectives.
- Manage, organise and oversee any launch or promotional activity.
- Ensure the marketing strategy and plan is delivered to budget, set clear objectives, monitor results where applicable.
- Proactively work with key stakeholders to flesh out campaigns in line with the over-arching strategy to deliver desired outcome
- Project manage internal resources as required to deliver successful campaigns, on time and on budget
- Identify and manage external suppliers: e.g. print, design, video and mail house facilities.
- Ensure that data is optimised for use and fit for purpose, working with IT to identify areas for improvement.
- Attend corporate events when necessary
Person Specification
- Minimum level 6/or degree equivalent level qualification; professional qualification desirable (CIM, CAM, IDM)
- Minimum 5 years hands on experience in a similar marketing role
- Proven track record of delivering marketing strategies on time and to budget
- Proven extensive experience in all aspects of direct and digital marketing including briefing, creating, delivering and measuring
- Ability to develop compelling messaging and value propositions to support different audiences
- Experience in creating briefs for internal and external agencies/clients and managing projects
- Proficient copywriter with an eye for exceptional design and creative delivery
- Experienced understanding of print and mail house delivery
- Strong understanding of the relationship between sales and marketing
- Budgeting experience and financial/commercial awareness
- Proven team management experience and development of staff
- Excellent relationship management experience both internal & external
