Mosaic Recruitment are looking for 2 candidates to join our clients IT department based in Bishop’s Stortford. Although previous experience is not essential, if you are a student or school leaver with some IT experience or with relevant qualifications this would be highly desirable.

Starting salary of £18,000 to £20,000 depending on experience.

You will be part of an in-house IT Team for a leading Insurance Broker supporting 250 staff across three offices in town, maintaining and upgrading physical and virtual servers, an IP telephone system and laser printers. In-house training provided, specific vendor and Microsoft training arranged where required.

Main Responsibilities

-          Troubleshooting and resolving staff’s technical problems across 3 offices in Bishops Stortford via our helpdesk

-          Basic hardware deployment & maintenance

-          Active Directory & Exchange administration

-          Working with external software houses to report and resolve bugs and issues discovered by staff

Skills

-          Competent in use of Windows Desktop and Server operating systems

-          Experience of Windows networks

-          Punctual and able to manage your workloads efficiently

-          Flexible to be able to work out of hours for special maintenance or deployments

-          Logical trouble shooting skills

Optional Skills

-          Experience with basic MSSQL queries

-          Knowledge of a language such as PHP, Javascript, Powershell
