We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our fantastic client in Ware, Hertfordshire. This position would suit a recent Graduate or someone who has a passion for writing and researching.
Educated to degree level, The Research Assistant will update and maintain the company’s online resource sharing facility which provides information and innovation in relation to the company industry. You will also assist with other areas of education and development as required.
Joining a fast-paced and busy team, you will work 37.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday, you will be entitled to the following benefits:

Responsibilities of the Research Assistant
- Undertake research to gather information from different sources, which demonstrates and reflects the industry
- Upload new entries to the website, including those submitted by registered users
- Undertake research on industry-wide issues, producing campaigns which include written copy, surveys, newsletter articles and marketing materials
- Produce educational e-learning courses on industry tops, including learning modules and quizzes
- Analyse, summarise and categorise information and present it in a readable and engaging way for the industry
- Liaise with members and affiliated bodies to obtain content for campaigns, articles and posts
- Regularly review content and ensure they are up to date
- Assist with quality control to ensure information collated is accurate, relevant and up to date
- Assist in the development and design of new webpages
- Communicate updates to users through mass emails and social media
- Write content for newsletters and articles
- Answer phone and email enquiries in relation to the online facility
- Provide statistics, reports or presentations for management when required
- Assist with website development and enhancement
- Develop marketing collateral such as banners and flyers to support campaigns
- Writing and updating E-learning facility
- Providing cover for team members when required
Key Skills and Competencies
- You will have excellent written English with outstanding communication and writing skills and a keen eye for detail
- You will demonstrate strong organisational ability, be proactive and adopt a ‘can do’ attitude
- The ability to prioritise workloads and excellent time management skills are also essential
- Educated to degree level
- Previous experience within a similar role desirable
- Office/admin/telephone experience
- Confident individual
