I have a new opportunity available for our very successful and innovative client, based in Hertfordshire.
They are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Marketing and Communications Manager who has a demonstrable background within the Chemical industry.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, with product knowledge and experience of working closely with sales and operational teams.

Key duties for the Marketing and Communications Manager;
• Play a major role while working with the company’s retained marketing communications consultancy provider to have input into all conventional and digital communication material.
• Monitor, collect, sort and store relevant market trend information from all product sectors.
• Understand the corporate strategy, business unit strategy and the strategy of key principals, in particular, as this relates to required company, product and service positioning to various segments within the sectors mentioned above.
• Link the trends and needs of each market segment to the designated positioning to determine appropriate “Push”, “Pull” and “Profile” promotional content and channel.
• Ensure that optimum levels of positive awareness are created amongst all of the company’s key internal and external stakeholder communities.
• Develop a demonstrable means of measuring the effectiveness of communications and promotion and define and utilise KPI’s to develop and operate a continuous improvement process in communications and promotion.
• Compile and implement integrated communication plans to support existing product and service sales and new product and service launches working closely with the company’s retained marketing communications provider and the sales, strategic marketing, principal management and operations teams.
• Coordinate exhibiting and attendance at relevant trade shows, technical seminars, customer innovation days and other similar events.
• Coordinate, manage, monitor and enhance via continuous improvement the company’s multiple recipient email messaging campaigns.
• Play a leading role in researching, developing and implementing a digitalisation strategy for the company.
