We are looking for a Compensation and Benefits specialised to cover a maternity contract for a well known brand based in Hertfordshire.
Reporting to the HR Director you will be responsible for managing a small team and all the Payroll, Pensions and Benefits for the employees. The team is a fairly new one so there is scope for development and introduction of new exciting benefits.
You must have advanced knowledge of UK benefits and pension/retirement laws as well as having a good overview of payroll. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences. Line management experience is desirable.
You will manage and execute all key compensations and benefit processes and be required to provide clarity on all matters relating to pay and benefits. You will be involved with implementing the well-being strategy for the company, support and champion existing benefits and implement changes in relation to Gender Pay Gap findings. You will work closely with ER colleagues to promote staff engagement and in the process reduce turnover and absence.
You will act as subject matter expert on benefits programs and ensure plans and programs remain compliance with tax, pension and HR legislation. You will work closely with internal and external tax and legal experts, auditors, consultants and vendors as required.
You will lead on all benefits reporting to reflect enrolment participation and spend as well as providing reports to enhance the performance of reward management services. You will be involved in benchmarking as well as managing the company's salary review process and annual bonus process.
