I have a new and challenging opportunity that has become available for my client who are based in Harlow.
We are looking for an innovative and confident Fundraising Manager who can identify new revenue streams and provide a fundraising strategy that will match my client’s ethos and values.

This is a fixed term contract, 2 year fixed term and this will be reviewed.
Key duties;
- To prepare fundraising marketing materials to promote services to potential and current donors, parents and staff.
- To identify potential funding opportunities (including grants, trusts and donors) and prepare the required submission.
- Arrange for tours of all sites, visits by prospective donors and hirers.
- To maintain accurate fundraising records including accounts and lists of donors.
- To manage the fundraising budget with support from the local and central finance team.
- To gather the views of parents and staff and involve them in fund raising activities.
- Research suitable funding streams, providing information and insight on opportunities and producing high-quality written submissions.
- To maintain relationships and maximise all opportunities with current supporters.
- To develop and meticulously organise a range of fundraising opportunities and events distributed throughout the year.
- To thoroughly research and appropriately approach companies for gifts in kind and events/sponsorship.
- To attend meetings with potential donors as appropriate and to deliver presentations and proposals to a high standard to secure funding.
- To contribute to the fundraising section of the website, ensuring it is relevant, up to date, informative and attractive to potential and current supporters.
- To write and produce timely and appropriate corporate grant applications, appeal letters and update reports.
- To be aware of charity law and tax efficient giving and its impact on fundraising. To ensure that the company works within the confines of the law and to maximise all cost effective giving opportunities.
- To report on work undertaken and income secured and carry out any other reasonable tasks as required by the CEO/Trustees.
- To be responsible for efficient administration and maintenance of the fundraising database and respond to general enquiries concerning donations
