We are currently working with a fantastic company in Harlow who are looking for a Stock Controller to join them as soon as possible.
Our client, a market leader in their field, are looking for an experienced and resilient professional to assist in the management of their stock and production.
In this role, you will work a 40 hour week between Monday and Friday. Our client can also offer you the following benefits:

The successful candidate is responsible for maintaining an effective stock control system and stock file integrity, via production and purchase planning utilising processes and procedures in line with company and ISO9001 audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring full stock accuracy is maintained and working closely with internal colleagues to ensure effective movement of stock.
- Design, implement and deliver accurate process audits to drive adherence to stock processes.
- Compile accurate monthly stock declaration and adjustments summary, ensuring all documentation and reports are accurate, current and accessible.
- Undertake weekly inventory counts throughout the year.
- Ensure necessary documentation is up to date and accessible.
- Place orders and see through to delivery.
- Recommend and report opportunities to support the drive for continuous stock improvement.
- Develop production plan in line with demand and lead times alongside Logistics Manager.
- Produce reports identifying slow moving and obsolete stock.
- Investigate and produce an ongoing full report of discrepancies, adjustments and procedural non-conformances, proposing and implementing corrective actions as appropriate, reporting on weekly basis.
- Contribute to the implementation of ISO9001 accreditation by producing and maintaining accurate relevant documentation to support ISO9001.
- Contribute to the implementation of Stock Management Control system & SAP by accurately reviewing part codes, bill of materials and kits preparation.
- Build and maintain harmonious working relationships with colleagues, customers and external providers.
- Any other duties as required the Logistics Manager.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- In depth knowledge and operational skills in SAP and ISO 9001.
- Well organised and adaptable.
- Personal attributes: confident, outgoing, work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Stock Control principles, including stock forecasting and demand planning.
- Proven skills in Microsoft office including Microsoft Outlook, Excel & other business software.
