Our client who are a global leader in their field are currently seeking a motivated, innovative and experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist to join their team on a 12 month contract. The role will involve contributing to the world class operation by the developing and managing of a wide range of lean initiatives and the successful candidate will play a key role in providing high quality support to the Operations team.
Responsibilities
Manage and deliver lean projects to drive the operational performance in the labs.
Coach and support the development of a continuous improvement culture by assisting lab staff to apply lean tools and techniques – a hands on approach is required.
To capture and report improvement activities using the provided templates.
Candidate specification:
Lean six sigma green belt or equivalent experience.
A self-starter, able to deliver improvement programmes to deliver strategic objectives.
A good influencer and communicator.
Highly structured and organised.
An innovative thinker.
A completer finisher.
Persistent, with an eye for detail and a quality mind set.
