We have an urgent requirement for a Temporary Internal Recruiter for our client who are based in Harlow.
This role will be for approximately four weeks and we will be looking for someone to start immediately.
You will be working as party of a very friendly and welcoming HR team who are working in a very fast paced and demanding department.
Internal Recruiter duties and key responsibilities;
- Contact potential or existing candidates to inform them about current opportunities
- Answer questions about the company and what they do
- Ask preselected questions to understand if the candidate is well suited to the company values and role being filled
- Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
- Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round interviews
- Report to hiring managers and on the status of open positions
- Evaluate candidates based on their interview
- Collaborate with hiring managers to write job ads for current openings
- Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g. LinkedIn) as well as source candidates through online channels (e.g. professional networks and portfolio sites)
- Help new hires onboard
- Conduct employee engagement and benefit surveys
- Calculate employee engagement metrics, like retention and turnover rates
The Internal Recruiter will have the below skills and experience;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- A tenacious, positive and self-motivated individual with a goal-orientated approach to work with an ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Time management and organisational skills with an ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively
- Team-working skills
- Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting
- Experience using various interview formats (e.g. phone, structured, group)
- Ability to organise skills assessment (e.g. job simulation activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests)
- Familiarity with Candidate Management Systems and Human Resources software
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
