- Description
We are looking to recruit an IT Support Coordinator to join a local professional organisation.
You will be assisting the IT department in coordinating and supporting key Business Systems across the organisation. You will build up an extensive level of knowledge and understanding for key Business Systems and will provide high level system support to the organisation. You will be working with internal and external customers, external suppliers and system developers on a multitude of Business System related projects and processes.
This role also focuses on supporting and coordinating activities across the IT department. Making sure all activities are well coordinated and reporting requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the process of creating and maintaining a Central IT Service Catalogue for all Business Systems
• Assist in the process of working with stakeholders to record, collate and prioritise system development requests
• Support the IT department with managing system processes, identify gaps and suggest improvements
• Support the Manager with creating training material and running internal and external training sessions
• Work with various external system suppliers and developers to maintain system continuity and performance
• To provide administrative support to the Web function as requested
• Assist with managing digital assets and guidelines as required
• Media support across web platforms, including uploading media content
• Work with your manager to maintain an IT Service Portfolio for the company, including documenting and managing supplier contracts, support documentation, contract renewals reminders
• Build up and maintain good working relationships with all departments within the organisation and provide first-line support for all Business Systems (including web)
• Reactive support for ad-hoc queries and issues
• Generate statistics as and when required using available query tools
• Work with Web team to support the business for the introduction of new systems and processes
• Minute taking and action log coordination, including distribution of actions within and outside of the department and following-up with action owners
• Departmental reporting coordination and support
• Documentation development including proof reading and agreeing final versions with appropriate stakeholders
• Assisting project and department financial control documentation for Purchase Orders/invoices
The successful candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience within an IT position and have technical knowledge and be confident liaising with web developers.
You will have the ability to communicate at all levels, have a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail.
