An exciting opportunity to join an expanding family run business supplying fresh produce to retailers and the food industry, working with local, national and international growers.
This role is based in Waltham Cross; 40 hour week including weekends (day shifts).
To check all stock on intake according to customer specification.
Record relevant details of inbound stock and report any issues found.
Record temperatures of cool chain areas and report any issues found.
Positive release of finished product according to customer specification.
Reporting any faults, damage or issues to the Supervisor.
Ensure that you uphold the company Health & Safety policy at all times.
Due to nature of the company business you might be required to do overtime when
necessary.
You must be comfortable working in a chilled environment (3-5degrees Celsius)
Handling a variety of foods (meat, fish, fresh produce, dry foods etc.)
The successful candidate must have knowledge of Quality Control. Basic Food Hygiene is essential along with excellent communications, administrative and ICT skills.
