We are currently looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join a well-established client of ours on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week between Monday and Friday. Salary dependent on experience but strong administrative skills are highly desirable.
Main Responsibility of the Purchasing Administrator
To assist the Procurement department in providing the procurement facility for the business and to produce accurate and up to date information on stock levels and usage.
Main Duties of the Purchasing Administrato
Booking stock on and off the internal computer system
Ensure purchasing at best value
Control stock under target levels
Placing orders on our supply chain and ensuring they deliver within target
Develop reporting tools
Develop systems to make all orders and delivery’s transparent to team
To maintain health and safety standards at all times
Put improvement suggestions forward where necessary
Requirements
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
