We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Marketing Content Writer to join our fantastic client near Hertford, Hertfordshire.
Educated to degree level you will have solid, relevant marketing and writing experience. You will have excellent written English with outstanding communication and creative writing skills and a keen eye for detail.
Joining a fast-paced and busy team, you will work 37.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday. Salary dependent on experience. The successful candidate will be entitled to the following benefits:- 22 days holidays

Responsibilities of the Marketing Content Writer
- Create marketing content for a number of websites and newsletters
- Create content for marketing materials and collateral
- Write news stories and create content for the company website
- Write awards citations for ceremonies
- Researching, writing and publishing case studies
- Writing and issuing local press releases
- Create ad-hoc articles and press releases
- Proof-read all marketing materials, campaigns, e-learning modules and ad-hoc articles prior to release
- Research and write case studies to be used primarily as a marketing tool to demonstrate how association with our organisation can benefit their business
- Develop case studies focused on examples of best practice, innovation or important industry dates and events
- Liaise with partners to develop relevant case studies
- Research industry initiatives and highlight possible case studies that are appropriate and relevant
- Keep abreast of industry news and flag stories that may be relevant, writing articles or case studies to reflect this
- Develop a library of case studies with quotes and images to be promoted via our websites, newsletters and on an ad-hoc basis as part of ongoing marketing and business development.
Key Skills and Competencies
You will demonstrate strong organisational ability, be proactive and adopt a ‘can do’ attitude. The ability to prioritise workloads and excellent time management skills are essential.
Experience of WordPress and Adobe’s Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Photoshop would be advantageous but is not essential.
