- Description
We are looking for a personable and approachable individual to join the HR department for our fabulous client based in Hertford.
Your role as the HR Support Co-ordinator will primarily be the first point of contact, providing support, advice and guidance to administer the provision of the company payroll, pension scheme and all staff benefits. You will work alongside your colleagues within the team, supporting them and providing a support service to the whole of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- HR Support
- Supports the HR Advisor by identifying and arranging all training & development across the company
- Provides administration support and takes minutes of meetings chaired by the Head of HR
- Supports the Head of HR on HR projects and initiatives as required
- Liaises with the Company Healthcare Brokers at renewal time to provide accurate data and information to ensure the best deal for IMI staff
- Works with the Executive & Project Coordinator to provide accurate data and information to the Company Brokers at the Company’s insurance policies renewal time
- Coordinates the annual 360 survey reports for staff using the internal survey system
- Supports the Executive & Project Coordinator to produce the annual salary review and bonus letters
- Supports the Executive & Project Coordinator to generate the annual staff remuneration statements
- Provides assistance and support with all general HR queries or referring on if necessary
- Payroll and Pension
- Responsible for the monthly payroll amendments, updates and submission to HMRC using Sage Payroll software, including Year End process.
- Responsible for the monthly pension contribution amendments, updates and submission to the Provider via the online portal.
- Staff Benefits
- Keeps records of the joiners and leavers on the Company healthcare scheme and provide help and advice in response to staff queries
- Generate all Company loan agreements and work with the Finance team to ensure all payments and repayments are accurately administered via the payroll
- Process the Childcare Voucher scheme and update as necessary
- Process the Give As You Earn scheme and update as necessary
- Monitor the Staff Recognition Award nominations and work with the Marcomms team to provide information for the monthly Communications Meetings
- Administer the Group Life scheme
- Coordinate 121 pension advisory meetings with the Company Financial Advisor
- Team Support
- Arrange and minute all Team meetings
- Monitor the central email inboxes and responds or refer on if necessary
- Work with the Marcomms team to collate the Industry Recognition Award nominations
- Report on monthly departmental deliverables where applicable
- Provide support to Reception/Switchboard staff to cover sickness or other absence
Experience, Skills & Knowledge required:
- Previous experience of coordinating the monthly payroll process with good understanding of PAYE, NI and all HMRC requirements including Year End process
- Previous experience of coordinating pension auto-enrolment and group personal pension plan administration
- Proven knowledge and understanding of salary exchange schemes
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Excellent numerical and mathematical skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Team player willing to multi-task and help out where necessary
- Proven confidentiality and discretion
