Our client based in Milton Keynes is always striving to be the best in class and in order to achieve this they have a brand new role for a Logistics Service Co-ordinator who will play a key part in solving problems and keeping customers happy.

The Logistics Services Co-ordinator will liaise directly with their Logistics Service Providers to monitor daily performance and resolve delivery and return issues for their customers.

Duties include:

• Monitor outbound deliveries and customer returns throughout the day
• Resolve any delivery issues with the Logistics Service Providers liaising with both internal and external customers ensuring the best possible outcomes
• Log delivery issues to ensure correct KPI figures are produced
• Prioritise key tasks and take ownership of issues and follow through to conclusion
• Ability to manage customer expectations and field queries

Previous experience and competencies:

• First class demonstrable customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent problem solving skills and initiative
• Practical, logical and tenacious
• Driven to ensure resolution
• Able to prioritise and work within a busy, results focussed environment
• Previous experience working within a transport/logistics is advantageous
• Team player with a positive and cheerful attitude
