I have an interesting and challenging role that has become available for my client who are based in Bishop’s Stortford.
The successful candidate will have a technical background and have the ability to investigate and solve design and manufacturing issues with a range of products.
You will have a proven history of technical delivery, knowledge of CAD would be an advantage.

Duties / Responsibilities
Initial Duties:
- Assisting with technical support issues and ensuring a prompt response to customers
- Investigating/solving escalated design and manufacturing issues within the range of products. In line with quality teams.
- Develop exceptional knowledge of equipment manufacturing.
- Develop innovative technical solutions which respond to and meet client's expectations.
- Drive the response to deliver great customer service.
- Develop working relationships distributers and partners to ensure outstanding end user experience.
- Ensure that an information flow for technical information is fed across the organisation, via technical department and quality departments.
- Assist with Preparation of technical documentation to support product release and operation.
- Cross checking and verification of engineering/technical documentation
- Updating of current operational manuals inclusive and not limited to, User, Service and Installation. Working with technical document writers and R&D
- Technical documentation handling to support tenders, regulatory and queries.
- Maintaining and improving technical knowledge base across the company
Skills & Abilities:
- Have the minimum of a Degree or a technical discipline
- Be organised and have the ability to prioritise multiple projects
- Be diplomatic and tactful, with a focus towards both internal and external customer satisfaction
- Be proficient in verbal and written communication within a business/manufacturing environment
- Possess a proactive style, team spirit, high energy level, and positive attitude
- Be able to discuss / communicate rationally and professionally
- Logical and systematic approach to problem solving
- Have the ability to communicate on all levels
- Competent level and understanding of computer packages
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
