Mosaic recruitment are looking for a TEMPORARY Administration Assistant for a charity based in Harlow.
You will be available to start immediately and this will be subject to a DBS check.
The role is for you to provide administrative support and assistance to the service and staff to enable them to provide a high-quality frontline service to their victims, delivering a service to those at highest risk.
Your main duties will be:
- To provide a professional and timely response to all requests for service.
- Respond to calls and requests through the Emergency Line and referral email system and ensure that they are directed appropriately to relevant departments or members of staff.
- Assist the Gateway Referral Practitioner.
- Ensure records are maintained to a high standard including databases.
- Ensure that at all times the organisation has up to date information about available capacity across all services.
- Assist the Gateway Referral Practitioner in ensuring that all referrals are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Ensure all relevant data is collected and inputted to the database and produce regular monitoring reports.
- To act in a professional manner at all times.
- You will be able to work within the Safeguarding arena following organisation policies and procedures, be able to Recognise; Respond to; Report and Record Safeguarding issues and understand and make quality Safeguarding Referrals.
- Comply with data protection legislation, information sharing policy and procedures and all legislation connected to your work. Act in a manner which preserves the confidentiality of all stakeholders.
- To maintain high standards of professionalism and keep abreast of current legislation, standards, best practice and maintain a focus of continuous improvement.
- To maintain knowledge of the Organisation’s operating environment.
It would be highly advantageous if you;
- Have experience working on a help/emergency line
- Have experience working with vulnerable people
- Have had Data Protection and GDPR training
- Have had Safeguarding training (with adults and children)
- Have a clean and recent DBS check
