This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and forward thinking Site Manager to join an expanding and progressive organisation whom value their employees and offer an excellent benefits package.
The working the hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday and benefits include anexcellent pension scheme plus 32 days annual leave.
The Site Manager will be responsible for ensure all projects are delivered on time and in budget and operations are carried out to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Carry out tool box talks.
- Identify the need for Risk Assessments.
- Manage and implement Health and Safety procedures.
- Support the Operations Manager.
- Plan work activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely and on time.
- Maintain site records accurately.
- Be aware of the financial situation of the project at all times.
- Co-ordinate the activities of Site Personnel and ensure their time is used effectively.
- Support and encourage co-workers to achieve results.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
- Lead, direct and develop the team.
- Manage and monitor the performance of sub-contractors.
- Identify training needs.
- Carry out performance reviews.
- Willing and keen to assume responsibility.
- Ensure that the correct processes and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Portray a professional image of the organisation at all times.
Experience and Attributes
- Five years experience within a multi-trade environment.
- Good knowledge of building maintenance.
- Experience managing projects and ensuring all costs are controlled.
- Maintaining and improving KPI’s.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and Asbestos regulations.
- Ability to implement policies and procedures.
- IT literate – previous use of Microsoft packages.
- Strong people management skills.
- Full, clean driving licence.
