I have a fantastic new opportunity that has become available for a Global organisation based in Harlow. They are a very well-established and successful business who are leaders in their industry.
My client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor on a contract basis for six months.
The working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday and there is free parking on site.
They are looking to offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits, such as 25 days holiday (pro rata).
Key responsibilities for the HR Advisor;
- Main point of contact for HR queries for area of accountability in the business
- Work closely with HR Manager and other HR colleagues to monitor , review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
- Provide a confidential advisory service to managers and employees to ensure they are fully aware of procedures, rights and entitlements
- Ensure Human resource matters are handled promptly, fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements
- Support the HR Manager with Grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
- Manage recruitment campaigns through to induction of new employees
- Oversee the salary, bonus and benefits administration.
- Ensuring overseas payroll is administered correctly in line with local legislative requirements and contractual requirements
- Help to drive organisational performance by supporting core business objectives and core values
- Work in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing and staff management/development
- Ensure that salary review, adhoc salary adjustments, bonus and other pay changes are administered promptly and accurately
- Responsible for ensuring key HR data is reported internally as required
- Ensure that attendance is recorded and monitored and any issues identified and resolved appropriately with line managers
- Administration of electronic appraisal system and following up on training needs identified
- Responsible for processing all administration related to the above .e.g. authorisation and approval paperwork, organogram updates
- Delivery of some training modules and tool box talks to Managers and Team Leaders
- Provide cover for other HR Advisor / Assistants in the team
- Ensure accomplishment of all business activities in the area of responsibility in line with relevant SHE regulations to achieve SHE compliance in accordance with internal contractual and legal regulations
