I have an exciting opportunity that has become available for my very successful and award winning client who are based in Bishop’s Stortford.

They are leaders in their field and work with some of the biggest names within the retail industry.

The Quality Controller who will oversee the product ranges, ensuring that they are fit for purpose.  

Key duties of the Quality Controller;

• Carrying out Risk Assessments on all the Product Ranges to ensure that they are safe for consumer use
• Managing the QC of the business to ensure that REACH and all testing requirements are met
• Liaising with our Far East Office to ensure that all the testing regulations are adhered to
• Communicating closely with customers to ensure that all their testing requirements are met
• Managing the different Testing Portals for different customers e.g. Interlink, WRSpec, Track Record Global.  
• Retrieving and analysing data to ensure that all our paper complies with the Timber Regulations
• Creating Risk Assessments for each Range and liaising with the out-of-house artwork studio for completion of artwork for all our product packaging
• Creating Technical files to make sure that all of our CE marked products are in line with trading standards
• Liaising with the out-of-house artwork studio for completion of artwork for all our product packaging/Labelling
• Liaising with our Far East Office and SEDEX to ensure that we have up to date Audits on all the factories that we use
• Sending Testing Requirements to our Far East Office  for each range and signing off testing quotes to make sure money is saved where possible
• Keeping Policies up to date and dealing with any complaints/QC Issues accordingly with our Far East Office/UK Warehouse.
• Compiling Documentation needed for any European/Worldwide Customer
