We are currently looking for a Marketing Assistant to join a well-established client of ours in Ware.
Within this role you will undertake all marketing activity, including website maintenance, stock control and production/development of marketing literature.
Working 37.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday, you will be entitled to the following benefits:

Main Responsibilities:
- Update the website with new content such as articles and press releases
- Manage marketing inbox and answer all enquiries with allotted timeframe
- Ensure all content on the website and social media is current and relevant
- Liaise with designers to update the visuals on the website as well as assist in the implementation of new functions
- Respond to requests for the use of company brand and logos
- Monitor up on instances where the logo has been used incorrectly
- Ensure all advertising literature is up to date
- Support the design and production of new documentation and products
- Work closely with printers to agree final designs and content
- Where appropriate, carry out design work on software such as WordPress, In-Design and Photoshop
- Assist in the development of promotional materials for events
- Source imagery for marketing material
- Source stories from partners, contractors and customers in order to develop content for newsletters
- Assist with editing and proof reading where required
- Produce final version and gain approval before publication
- Distribute material where appropriate
- Assist with pre, during and post-event marketing for Awards and Exhibitions
- Help manage company social media and come up with creative ideas to boost online presence
Key Skills and Competencies
- Relevant marketing experience or degree
- Confident and outgoing personality
- Excellent customer facing and telephone skills
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Attention for detail, ability to listen and extract relevant information
- Clear concise verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent IT skills to include a minimum of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
