We are currently looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join a fantastic and expanding client of ours based in Harlow, Essex.
Our client is looking for a candidate who is confident, enjoys building relationships with customers and is passionate about the work they do. Previous experience of customer service is highly desirable in either a retail or office environment.
You will work Monday – Friday between 9:00am – 5:00pm. Our client can give you the opportunity to gain experience within an office and are offering a starting salary of £17,000 per annum. The successful candidate will join an incredibly friendly, supportive and sociable team.
Responsibilities of Customer Service Advisor
- Act as one of the first points of contact for all incoming queries from customers
- Aim to resolve all customer queries as quickly as possible ensuring that all updates are noted on the system
- Build relationships with clients and be on hand to provide support via telephone and email
- Proactively manage and track customer shipments to avoid issue and delay resulting in successful delivery
- Update customers on status of delivery
- Process claims on customers’ behalf
- Escalate complaints and issues to Management
- Run daily performance and exception reports
- General administrative duties for the department
Required Skills of Customer Service Advisor:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are required
- A ‘can do’ attitude and a proactive and productive work ethic
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- A confident approach and the ability to multi-task
