We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join our client who is one of the leaders in their field.
Working closely with a host of different departments, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of administration for the company’s external representatives. You will build relationships with external colleagues and regularly discuss issues and performance. A key part of this role will be to identify issues and implement solutions.
Our client can offer you a friendly office environment and a salary of up to £18,000 per annum dependent on experience. Please be advised that due to location, parking is limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for allotted external staff and provide daily contact
- Dealing with and resolving queries from external colleagues by phone and email, escalating to Senior Management when required
- Review upcoming work, allocating to relevant member of staff and identifying resource requirements
- Chase-up overdue work with relevant members of staff
- Coordinate paperwork of new starters and ensure welcome packs are sent
- Run regular performance reports and feed back to Senior Management on issues identified
- Continuously ensure that paperwork is completed and that staff are working in accordance with company policies
- Ensure the database is regularly updated and maintained
- Any ad-hoc duties are required by Manager
Key Skills and Competencies
- Previous experience within administration
- Team-player
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong numeracy skills
- IT literate – proficiently with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
