- Description
I have an urgent requirement for a Temporary Administrator for my client who are based in Bishop's Stortford.
This is to cover holiday from the 17th May - 8th June and the working hours are 8am - 5pm.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Administrator who has a good working knowledge of Excel. You will need to be reliable, punctual, hardworking and committed.
Role overview
- Promote the company ethos of working in an open, honest and transparent manner at all times
- General administrative duties in support of the daily operations on one or more of the company’s projects
- Responsible for supporting the team in ensuring that the site activities are delivered safely, on time and to the agreed quality whilst exceeding client expectations, minimising risk and maximising opportunity for the company.
- To understand, implement and adhere to the company Health & Safety ethos and ensure that H&S requirements are upheld to the highest of standards at all times
Main duties
- Processing and logging all project data, including entering information into electronic formats (MS Excel mainly), filing, scanning and copying
- Assisting with the development, review, updating and distribution of all resident communication documentation/material, ensuring high quality and compliance with client/project requirements
- Log in the required level of detail all issues, queries and/or complaints in order to enable the team to ensure that a non-adversarial resolution is achieved
- Assistance with the preparation and reporting for all relevant meetings in relation to the project
- Work with site staff to implement effective practices
- Manage complaints in line with our complaints procedure
Skills and knowledge
- Confident oral and written communication skills
- Communicate effectively with all those who have a stake in the work
- Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to negotiate and influence
- Previous experience within administration in a construction environment
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and good level of capability with other MS Office suite programmes
- Experience of working in customer-facing environment
- Highly organised, persistent individual with an eye for detail
