PRODUCTION MANAGER

An exciting opportunity to join the Production Team of one of the UKs leading and established companies who specialise in supplying fashion accessorises to High Street Retailers.

The role:

• Raising Purchase Orders
• Managing the critical path from confirmed buy to delivery
• Lab dips, trim & bulk submission for approval
• Sample management & submission for approval
• Liaising with customers for orders and approvals
• Liaising with overseas suppliers and factories primarily Far East
• Working closely with Account Managers to implement buying requirements
• Production flow chart updates
• Arranging product tests to be carried out
• Checking and scheduling of factory booking and deliveries and invoicing of goods
• Checking label artwork
• General day-to-day administration

The ideal Candidate:

• Previous fashion production experience & knowledge of web-based supply chain systems preferable.

• Alternatively the position could suit someone with experience of co-ordinating a supply chain or purchasing or operations &/or logistics management.

• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency are pre-requisites of the role.

• Highly organised with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Have excellent IT skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Photoshop. Knowledge of Sage 200 would be beneficial.

• Willing to learn.
