Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join a dynamic, progressive and growing organisation who have doubled their business within the past two years and continue to grow.  The client have smart, modern state of the art offices and offer an excellent range of employee benefits.

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure there are sufficient stock levels to supply customers.  By means of ordering and booking in stock from all relevant suppliers whilst operating within defined stock and aged targets.  You will improve delivery date accuracy to drive increased customer service levels and be able to build strong supplier relationships.


Your main duties include:

  • Complete/support actions delegated from the Buyers
  • Raise, get approved and send purchase orders to suppliers, whilst adhering to all relevant procedures
  • Maintain and update accurate due dates for delivery of product
  • Issuing/reviewing booking in slots
  • Resolve all warehouse delivery dispute notices
  • Work with sales to ensure customer required dates are achieved, especially for back to back or retail forecasts
  • Complete weekly stock reports for suppliers using relevant formats and procedures
  • Where required place orders and maintain stock levels for selected vendors in line with company stock and aged targets
  • Manage a reduced vendor partner portfolio
  • Update/set up new Release products

The successful candidate will have at least 1 years’ buying experience with high accuracy in numeracy. You will also have;
