I have a new opportunity that has become available for my client who are based in Bishop’s Stortford.
They are looking for a confident and driven Sales Executive to join their team and be instrumental in expanding their client base.
They can offer you a competitive salary and benefits along with free parking on site. The working hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in sales and be a motivated, self-starter.
You will be required to identify & contact potential and existing customers by telephone and email to build relationships & to generate market information on quantity, pricing and competition for a predefined range of products ensuring maximum interfacing by telephone with the customer
- All information are to be recorded in call report & summarise in Tactical plan for future progress.
- Support the Team with day to day enquiries whilst reps are travelling or in meetings.
- Support Multinational Team with Customer Tenders, working towards tight deadlines.
- To resolve Multinational customer’s issues in a proactive & positive manner.
- To project the company to its best advantage, ensuring clear & professional communication of sales related issues to Customers, Principals, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Team etc.
- Obtain & negotiate purchase prices & payment terms from Principals and update Supply chain accordingly.
- Update Customer Care Team on sales prices to ensure price files are accurate.
- Analyse lost business and margin variance reports and refer anomalies.
- Monitor progress of contract volumes on a monthly basis, ensuring sufficient stock is in place and en route to continue supply, by working closely with customer service and supply chain teams.
- To proactively investigate alternative supply options to ensure supply capabilities to customers are not affected.
- Maintain and record all relevant information in CRM system, ensuring tactical plans are always up to date.
- Collate SAGE reporting statistics.
- To produce/ collate monthly report updates & present it in a timely manner.
- Liaison/Progression with Principals/Suppliers on defined projects under guidance.
- Communication with customer service & supply chain on sales forecasts.
- Prepare product costing for submission to customers, ensuring accuracy whilst collating historically information and cost options to use strategically in negotiation.
- To assist Customer Care Team in resolution of sales related issues on behalf of the manager
- Business development of focus accounts, including quoting, sample follow up and telesales. This also involves some cold calling.
