We have an exciting new position available to work with an international industry leading distributors based in Cheshunt.
In this position you will be providing Administrative support to the imports department and an Account Management service to their client base.
The successful candidate will have previous Administration and/or Customer service experience and be a confident individual as you will be joining a vibrant and out-going team. The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm
Your responsibilities include:
- Taking orders by phone
- Processing orders
- Production and planning
- Checking credit/availability
- Invoicing
- Inputting new contracts on system
- Buying foreign currency and allocating against supplier invoices
- Adhoc administration duties
- Adhering to company policy and industry legislation at all times
- Covering reception duties when needed
Relevant Skills:
- Confident with oral and written communication skills
- Communicate effectively
- Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines/orders
- Ability to negotiate and influence
- Previous experience within administration and/or Customer Service
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and good level of capability with other MS Office suite programmes
- Highly organised individual
- Hard-working
- Willing to learn
