I am currently working on an exciting opportunity for an ambitious client of mine based in Bishop’s Stortford. The working hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.
Your role will be to support the Customer Care team leader and a range of teams across the organisation with direct interactions with the Purchasing team and our clients’ customer base. You will be the first point of contact to all customers.
The successful candidate will have previous Customer care/service experience, be well mannered, organised, computer literate and be able to work off their own initiative.
Responsibilities:
- First point of contact to all customers
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- The management of customer orders from receipt, to delivery and any after sales needs.
- Processing orders received via different methods
- Data entry
- Updating systems
- Keep customers updated through order process journey and after sale
- Deal with credit issues / liase with accounts department
- Work closely with the Operational teams to ensure that deliveries are correct and on time
- Work to procedures outlined for your specific job role
- Adhoc duties when required

- IT Literate – Experience with SAGE and Lotus Notes an advantage
