We have a fantastic oppportunity for an Assistant or Junior Buyer with excellent mathematical ability to join an award winning business who are growing rapidly. To be successful within this role you will be highly numerate, have excellent attention to detail and be confident calculating margins, currency conversions and all other costs associated with buying and transporting goods. 

Duties will include assisting the Buyers and analysing orders to create a strategy to ensure best possible commercial terms and prices, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers. 

The ability to do complex mathematical calculations & equations, including profit margin & currency conversion, analyse information quickly and to work under pressure in a fast-paced and busy environment are essential. You must have a GCSE maths grade B or above, be highly organised and able to use MS Office packages, especially Excel and Outlook and manage a high volume of emails to negotiate with our China colleagues and suppliers.

As part of the interview process candidates will be required to complete maths tests.
