We have an urgent requirement for Part Time Database Support Executive on a contract basis for our well regarded client based in Harlow. You will be required to work 25 hours per week and there will be a degree of flexibility on the specific days worked.
This is a contract role until August 2018 so you must be available immediately and fulfil the full term of the contract.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in working with CRM systems / databases and have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

Key duties for the Database Support Executive;
Database Maintenance:
- Maintain the structure and configuration of the company’s Raiser’s Edge database ensuring the integrity of the data held by; the accurate import of data from all sources including the daily files received, maintaining code tables and attributes, performing regular deletion and archiving of records, and prompt installation of new software releases.
- Liaise with Blackbaud, internal IT teams and external contacts at third parties to resolve the department’s queries.
- Identify and build queries to execute data selection requirements from Raisers Edge.
- Respond to requests for information relating to data as relevant.
- Liaise with the Finance Department Senior Manager to run gift aid claims and ensure accuracy and indexing of all declarations made to meet HMRC requirements.
- Update and maintain accurate records of Legacy/ In memoriam pledges/gifts.
Relationship Support:
- Support the Departments Senior Management with the production of reports from Raiser’s Edge.
- Maintain customer records including the scanning and storing of relevant paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and efficient paper and electronic records and filing for any donations received, and issue thank you letters, emails and thank you certificates as required.
- Escalate and raise awareness of any areas of concern to Line Manager.
- Provide support for ad-hoc projects.
Essential
-GSCE pass level or equivalent in English and Maths, or
-Minimum 3 years work experience in the use of CRM systems and data input.
-A high level working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (emails/ calendar).
Desirable
-Raiser’s Edge Essentials Part 1 and/or Part 2 or equivalent CRM database qualification.
-Excel Intermediate (3a, 3b) training and advanced PowerPoint.
