We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our well-established and friendly client in Manchester.
You will work the hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm between Monday to Friday. For the role of Administrator, our client can offer you a salary of up to £26,000 per annum dependent on experience. You will enjoy excellent benefits such as; free parking, health care and dental insurance schemes, reduced gym membership and 22 day holiday (plus bank holidays). Additionally, you will qualify for the KPI scheme with an OTE of up to £3,000 paid quarterly.
The Main Responsibility of Sales Administrator
The main purpose of the role is to carry out all sales administration with a heavy focus on providing excellent customer service at all times. The role requires a happy to help and positive attitude, team work, welcomes new ideas and creating the ultimate customer service experience.
Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:
- Act as a first point of contact for customers and account managers
- Competent on SAP - being able to process an order and track from beginning to end & run an effective order book
- Raising credit and debit notes when required
- After sales support (dealing with damages, picking errors, ETA.s, returns, invoice queries, and any other delivery issues)
- Respond to customer correspondence regarding account queries
- Deal with logistic queries and issues – acting as first point of contact for couriers
- Keeping customer database up to date
- To assist the internal/external sales force in ensuring that the region achieves its sales forecast
- Calling customers to keep them up to date with changes on their purchase orders or to find out more information from the customer
- Check stock availability/prices
- Accepting and distributing orders
- General administrative duties to support the department
Candidate Attributes:
- Customer service experience is essential
- Attention to Detail
- IT Literate and competent user of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Personal attributes: self-motivated, driven, methodical, personable, optimistic and resourceful
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent time management, multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines set
- Ability to use own initiative
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
