Key duties for the Sales Executive;
- Reporting to and work closely with the Delegate & Sponsorship sales manager to deliver and exceed delegate sales targets
- Generate new and maintain existing sales leads
- To be proactive and reactive to ensure a steady stream of sales
- Raising awareness to sell conference delegate attendance
- Using social media for lead generating
- To exceed KPIs through cold calling
- Produce weekly sales reports
- To manage, build and maintain the delegate conference database
- Administration; to log all enquires, sales and to complete the relevant booking processes
- To keep up to date with competitors and identify new growth areas
- Attending industry events if required
- Attending conferences to include; setup, conference days and breakdown
- Communicate well internally and with external partnerships
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience within delegate sales
- A proven track record in exceeding sales targets
- Self-sufficient and a team player
- Proficient user of all Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
- Sales and negotiation
- Excellent skills in communication
- Cold calling and client management
- Excellent administration skills
- Sales hungry and full of enthusiasm
