Key duties for the Sales Executive;

  • Reporting to and work closely with the Delegate & Sponsorship sales manager to deliver and exceed delegate sales targets
  • Generate new and maintain existing sales leads
  • To be proactive and reactive to ensure a steady stream of sales
  • Raising awareness to sell conference delegate attendance
  • Using social media for lead generating
  • To exceed KPIs through cold calling
  • Produce weekly sales reports
  • To manage, build and maintain the delegate conference database
  • Administration;  to log all enquires, sales and to complete the relevant booking processes
  • To keep up to date with competitors and identify new growth areas
  • Attending industry events if required
  • Attending conferences to include; setup, conference days and breakdown
  • Communicate well internally and with external partnerships

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience within delegate sales
  • A proven track record in exceeding sales targets
  • Self-sufficient and a team player
  • Proficient user of all Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
  • Sales and negotiation
  • Excellent skills in communication
  • Cold calling and client management
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Sales hungry and full of enthusiasm
