We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and successful company based in the heart of Bishop's Stortford.
Based on recent and continuing success they are rapidly expanding and looking to recruit experienced Account Managers who can help drive the business forward. You will be sales focused, tenacious, confident, and assertive and have excellent accuracy and attention to detail. A background in the fashion industry is essential.
You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
Account Manager key duties;
- Managing a number of high profile and valuable contracts and accounts.
- Developing and maintaining an account base, and delivering budgeted revenues as well as exceeding set sales targets.
- Identifying key accounts by analysing their current growth, strategic importance and future potential.
- Monitoring and managing the performance of a team of account executives.
- Launching pro-active sales campaigns and pursuing new business leads.
- Identifying the key decision makers and influencers within a business and then targeting them.
- Regularly updating Senior Managers of progress or areas of concern.
- Maintaining and updating administrative systems accurately.
- Liaison with suppliers, predominantly in the Far East
- Negotiation with suppliers
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail / fashion industry
- Highly organised with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Have excellent IT skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
