An interesting opportunity has arisen for a Management / Project Accountant with Business Partnering experience to join a prestigious organisation in the West Essex / East Hertfordshire region on a permanent basis.

Our client is looking for someone with experience of improving processes and identifying opportunities to optimise efficiencies within a finance department, and the ability to engage with key decision makers with a view to providing high quality financial insight.  The primary responsibility will be to act as a Finance Business Partner to major stakeholders and challenge existing processes and working methods with a view to driving continuous improvement.

In addition, you will be responsible for producing monthly reporting and management accounts accurately and in a timely fashion and liasing with stakeholders to ensure that financial performance for each business area is actively monitored and managed.

There will be some involvement in budgeting and forecasting, mostly in providing strategic and financial analysis to aid the preparation of long term business plans, and in coordinating the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.

You'll need to be a qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with post-qualification experience in either a commercial or not for profit organisation, and ideally with an understanding of using Sage 200.
