We are looking for a pro-active, driven and confident individual with a flair for sales to generate new business for this large corporate company based in Hatfield.
Using your individual style and personality you will generate new business through proactive sales calls to both prospective and lapsed clients on an existing database. All the sales will be B2B within the UK and you will be backed by a well known brand and products.
Duties will include:
- Generate new business with sales calls to prospect and non-spending customers
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPI's
- Increase customers spending frequency and the number of trading accounts
- Sell the full product range, up-selling at every opportunity
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular sales calls and contact
- Identify sales opportunities and follow-up leads promptly
- Pass customers to External Account Managers for further development
- Maintain customer database daily, process quotes/orders/deliveries, produce sales pipeline and monthly reports
- Be the main point of contact for customer and effectively resolve and queries
Person Specification
- Previous experience within a telephone sales environment
- Experience of working to individual targets and managing your own customer database
- Self-motivated, confident and driven to be successful
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working and beneficial relationships
- Personable, persistent, tactful and resourceful
- Ability to problem solve, using initiative and taking ownership
- Adaptable and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- IT Literate and confident user of MS Office Suite - experience of using SAP is desirable
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent including a good level for Math's and English
