- Description
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for an experienced, pro-active and resilient Recruiter to join an internal recruitment team in an award winning, expanding and dynamic organisation. The remit for the role is to support the sourcing and on boarding of self-employed certificated and trainee agents throughout the South and South East regions.
The role will require a strong, resourceful and goal oriented experienced Recruiter who is confident in their ability to hit targets. Commission will be paid on the successful placement of certificated and trainee agents and their will also be an additional element of commission paid for the retention of agents.
The position will be based in Epping, Essex with the expectation of regular travel to other locations within the UK.
The role will have a high level of autonomy and will require self-determination, drive, resilience and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Core duties and responsibilities
Demand & Resource Planning
Work closely with the Enforcement Director and Enforcement Managers to understand both the demand and priorities.
Work closely with the central recruitment team to understanding demand, activity and performance throughout the group.
Plan workload and diary in accordance with the demands of the business.
Sourcing
Direct sourcing for applicants via job boards and social media sites.
- Cold calling
- Referrals

Liaising with agencies regarding resource demand and short listing of applicants.
Processing direct applicants from the central recruitment team.
Managing candidates whom have come via the internal disengagement process
- Supporting the movement of potential leavers to other roles, in accordance with group demand.
- Understanding and feeding back to the business the core reasons for the disengagement of contractors.
- Building a knowledge and understanding of the local enforcement market and the competition and gaining a greater knowledge of the reasons candidates leave.
- Introducing improvements or methods that could be employed to improve relationships and gain better retention rates.
- Ensure leavers are chased for payment of their training costs if they leave within six months of their training programme.
Proactive networking via social media and the current agent group.
Source and attend job fairs and follow up proactively on all leads created within the region.
Selection process of enforcement agents.
Conducting curriculum vitae and telephone sifts to determine suitability.
Use existing group facilities to source interview locations or to book external accommodation as required.
Arranging and conducting field based face 2 face interviews.
- Carry out eligibility to work checks.
Make conditional offers of employment, subject to demand.
Send all appropriate paperwork, notes and eligibility to work and identification documents etc., to the central recruitment team post interview electronically and via the post.
Liaise with central recruitment and learning and development to ensure a smooth on-boarding process.
On Boarding
Keep all successful agents under offer engaged prior to offer and training.
Inform appropriate teams of any drop out pre training.
To understand and report on reasons for drop out post offer or pre on boarding.
