We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and creative Copywriter to join a forward thinking, progressive organisation to deliver engaging content to support the delivery of campaigns, marketing activities and communications as outlined by the Marketing Manager to support the business and complete objective to a high standard.
Key responsibilities for the Copywriter include:
- Develop engaging content relating to campaigns, key products and services as well as topical areas
- Optimise content for use in a range of channels both offline, online and in social context
- Liaise confidently and professionally with internal clients to discuss content requirements, tone, audience and any amendments that need to be made
- Promote and deliver best practice for content generation and usage across the business
- Proof read / modify marketing material and documentation as required in both an in-house capacity and external partnership collaborations
- Update and maintain copy on websites and blogs through a variety of Content Management Systems
- Assist with the creation and scheduling of social media posts across a range of channels including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Marketing administration including raising POs, managing inboxes and stock control
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- English Degree or equivalent discipline such as Journalism would be an advantage
- Previous experience within a copywriting role
- Excellent communication skills at all levels (written & verbal)
- Excellent organisational, administrative and coordination skills with attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, be flexible to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
- Good customer facing skills / experience
- Ability to write accurate reports
- Competent IT skills – including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, CMS and CRM systems
