- Description
A client of ours based in Epping is looking for an Administration Assistant to support the day to day running of the Learning and Development department.
With a salary of £17,000 per annum and with the working hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm, you will receive 25 days holiday and be enrolled on their pension scheme. You will be working within a fantastic and professional office environment with a friendly and supportive team.
Main Responsibilities
- Logging and updating training records
- Preparing certification packs
- Updating the calendar with courses and trainer responsibilities
- Co-ordinate training material
- Assist with the scheduling of courses
- Assist with various pre and post course tasks e.g. compile work books and work sheets, co-ordinate delegate availability, log evaluation feedback
- Update the HR system with training details
- Process invoices for training courses
- Assist the team with maintaining in-house programmes, coordinating meeting rooms, external venues and course materials where necessary
- Gather and report statistics on internal courses and external technical courses
- Co-ordinate monthly reports on training
General Administration
- Take phone messages
- Manage the shared inbox and ensure all queries have been dealt with
- Arrange meetings and booking rooms
- Track and record all invoices for budget purposes
- Other ad hoc support as required
Key Skills and Attributes
- Good level of general education to GCSE’s or GNVQ/NVQ qualification or equivalent (5 @ A-C minimum)
- Good listening, written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Computer literacy – MS Office (word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Good general office skills
- Good organisational skills including the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Ability to keep track of progress and provide information on a regular basis
