We are looking to recruit a Stock Controller for our client who are based in Harlow.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a successful and well established company who encourage progression and career development.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a background in this role or similar, be organised and be able to build effective working relationships externally and internally.
By monitoring the regions stockholding, keeping shortages to a minimum and improving availability of the hire equipment this will ensure the company deliver an excellent level of customer service at all times.
Working closely with the various depots around the country you will be required to conduct inter depot transfers to ensure the company have the right equipment in the right locations at the required time.
Experience/attributes required:
Education:
- Competent Maths & English skills
- Able to read & write to a good standard
Knowledge/Background:
- Knowledge of the hire industry advantageous
- Knowledge construction/housing/civil engineering industry advantageous
- Good geographical knowledge of region/UK essential
I.T Skills:
- Basic computer literacy – MS Office/Outlook skills
- Knowledge of Team Visual or other similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems advantageous
- Excellent telephone manner essential
The hours for this role are 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday and there is free parking available on site.
